Real name - Jessica Iris Soto
Born - April 12, 1985
A native from Manhattan, New York, Jyris first language was English, until she moved to Puerto Rico at the age of 6 with her family. When she moved to Puerto Rico and while in the 8th grade, she applied to and auditioned for acceptance into an academy of the fine arts. She was the smallest one there and she still made it because her beautiful angelic voice overwhelmed her stature. She didnt stay long, however, because she missed her family. As a result, she quit the academy but through the remaining years in school she continued to sing. One of her favorites is the Star Spangled Banner and a variety of songs shed learned in Puerto Rico. After time passed and she reached high school age, she moved to Florida and eventually sang in the Brandon High School Choir. It was there that she met Lorenzo. Although they have become great friends, she sees Lorenzo more as a brother and a guide. With a sweet and welcoming disposition, Jyris tries her best to impress through her singing and desires to show what she can do in her pursuit to entertain in these music genres: Reggaeton and R&B. Now teamed up with Sean Lightfoot CEO of StarMaka along with StarMaka recording artists Lorenzo Harmony and Real 'ThA DoD' expect big things to come from Jyris!
