Bio
Derrick Miller, Will Wackerman and Shelby Coulter met in college at Oklahoma State University when they lived on Kerr 4. They formed the band The Slicers with Scott Robison. Robison left and was replaced by Peter Wackerman and Cody Watts.
After a few years of inactivity, Miller chose to bring the band back together. Both Wackermans, Coulter and Miller chose to change the name of the band. After much discussion, the band became K-4 in honor of the dorm floor that brought them together in college.
Then long time friend, Josh Beebe, was brought into the band to play bass so Peter could focus more on keyboard playing. Miller, who was living in a different part of the state, then stepped down from performing and stepped up as manager. This way, the band would be able to practice, and Miller could actively seek gigs.
The band continues to perform for many charity organizations and rock out to sizable crowds.
