Bio

"Kaedmon is pure talent, pure energy, and pure upbeat fun. Their superb songwriting, lush harmonies, and great instrumentation combined to make this one of the best shows we've had here at "Concerts at the Bodie House." We were inundated with emails of praise after this show. And their wonderful stage presence and great audience interaction put them over the top to make this one of the most requested acts we have had."
-- Renee Bodie of "Concerts at the Bodie House"

"Kaedmon plays sweet and grooving Celtic music with decided Beatle-esque, pop music influences. They also craft very precise harmonies and instrumental arrangements."
-- Kenny Edwards

In 2006, Kaedmon was a voted one of the top 5 finalists for the best "Acoustic Band" in the Orange County Music Awards.

The band is made up of songwriters and multi-instrumentalists writing songs with a diverse range of instrumentation ranging from guitar and mandolin to box drum and pennywhistle . . . think Americana with a whistle.

Kaedmon has shared the stage with Kenny Edwards, Harriet Schock, Freddy Koela, Berkeley Hart and Deedee O'Malley, and has been featured in the "Bodie House" and "Caroline Aiken's" showcases at the 18th Annual Folk Alliance Conference in Austin, Texas. They've also played at the Far-West "Late Night Showcase." The band has performed live on Larry Wines' FM radio show "Tied to the Tracks" and recently performed at the Temecula Balloon & Wine Festival. As one of Bob Stane's favorite acts, Kaedmon has played numerous times at the Coffee Gallery Backstage.

"KAEDMON has been our good luck talisman. The group comes along at just the right time with soaring songs, great attitude and humor. I book them, literally, whenever we mutually have an opening. These folks can sing, play and write. They could make it happen in any of the three disciplines. I strongly recommend you pay attention to them and hire them if you can. Maybe they will bring you the luck (and the crowds) they brought me. You will have fun with KAEDMON."
-- Bob Stane @ The Coffee Gallery Backstage
