"The "New Sound" of Sacramento"

"It's a new sound for Sacramento, but it's a growing sound and this guy just does it phenomenally." - Mark Gilmore & 98 Rock Local Licks

"Featured Artist: Kaero | The Film Vault"

Kaero’s debut EP, “Lessons on Living it Up” shows a desire to break human existence down to its core instincts and express that in song. The simplicity of letting go and living it up is something that KAERO’s fans respond to, especially at his live shows. - AdamCorolla.com

"Kings of A&R Top Pick"

Check out the track Boom by Kaero, a new pop artist on the scene.

UCLA asked Kevin to perform as a solo artist in their production of “Spring Sing,” the same show in which Maroon 5 and Sara Bareilles were discovered.

For fans of Cobra Starship, Justin Timberlake, etc. - Kings of A&R

"EQ Discovery: Kaero"

BOOM! Shake your ass like you mean it!

Meet Kaero - he's a Californian and his track and video to "Boom" is quite good. It definitely made my gym experience this morning much better indeed. The track actually references Gaga's "meat dress" which is quite ingenious and the fact that he's a male and unashamedly doing his pop thing makes Kaero all that more lovable.

If you like what you hear and or just curious about what Kaero brings to the pop universe, you can check Kaero out on Facebook and Myspace. I've got my eyes on him. - EQ Music Blog

Bio

KAERO = Kevin Royer.

Kevin Royer = A graduate of music and modern thought at UCLA.

In 2009, just before graduating, UCLA asked Kevin to perform as a solo artist in their production of “Spring Sing,” the same show in which Maroon 5 and Sara Bareilles were discovered.

Kaero's debut EP, "Lessons on Living it Up" shows a desire to break human existence down to its core instincts and express that in song. The simplicity of letting go and living it up is something that KAERO's fans respond to, especially at his live shows.

Recently, the opportunity arose to work with the talented Yarvo (T-Pain, CTV, Good Charlotte) to produce a music video for Kaero's lead single, "Boom". The video debuted along with the EP's iTunes release this past January, 2011. The video was picked up by Kings of A&R and slotted in the primo spot of the "kingsofar top picks" at that time.

Critically, KAERO has garnered international respect from music enthusiasts around the globe. EQ Music Blog in London thought his music "ingenious" and went on to comment: "the fact that he's a male and unashamedly doing his pop thing makes Kaero all that more lovable". In review of Kaero's newest single, "Break Me Down (Femme Fatale)", Pop-Sucker has this to say: "Kaero has the sound that whets the appetites of those who drive today's pop songs to the top of the charts. Just listen to 'break me down (femme fatale)', one of the most addictive dance-pop serenades this side of the billboard hot 100". Adam Corolla has even jumped on board to promote Kaero, featuring him on his website's podcast, "The Film Vault".

In addition to critical support, Kaero's music is "winning" in the commercial licensing world. His song "Drawn to You" landed a publishing deal with Bunim Murray Productions & MTV, appearing in the season premier of "The Real World: Las Vegas". In March of 2011, Kaero signed another publishing deal with Position Music Inc. (Iron Man, Victoria's Secret, Jersey Shore, Grey's Anatomy) and is currently awaiting the big screen debut of "Boom" along with the rest of his catalog.
