Who is Kae Wun?

It is no secret that the Midwest is looking for the next big thing in hip hop and Kae Wun may just be it. There is no doubt about Kae Wun representing the Midwest, considering he was born and raised directly in the middle of the map, Wichita, KS. Some consider him a star on the rise such as the people over at www.ecko.com who stated Kae Wun is “killing the airwaves, and selling out of all the stores”.

Kae Wun is currently promoting his highly anticipated debut album, Kae101: The Introduction. It is set for release in June of 2006 and Kae Wun will be out doing a show and radio tour to promote his current project. The company in which he is a co-owner, By Any Means Entertainment is releasing the project and pushing it on a regional scale.

With Kae Wun coming out on the scene less than a year ago, he already has a track record that proves his ability to be a main force within the music industry. He has performed with numerous artists at the top of the game such as: Marques Houston, Avant, Ray J, Mike Jones, Lil’ Webbie, Lil’ Rob, Chris Brown, Ne-Yo, Three 6 Mafia, and Bow Wow. Kae Wun who will be twenty on July 8 has already built himself quite a reputation and has no plans on stopping anytime soon.

Kae Wuns’ music has had people turning heads and asking questions about this young emcee coming up in the game. With the release of ICT (The Official Anthem) which earned Kae Wun his nickname “Mr. ICT” and his second single I’m Hot, it is not difficult to see why he is gaining regional recognition. If you include his consistent releasing of mixtapes for the streets and the cutting edge marketing team within his company, he is a force to be reckoned with.
