Begun as the brainchild of Freya Mitchison and Saskia Laroque when they were fresh young 15-year old's jamming together in their bedrooms and going by the name of Pudding. They grew up, moved to Edinburgh, and after a few re-incarnations, met the multi-talented Harriet Braine and the enigmatic Melanie Dutton. They changed their name to KAIHO (thank god) and have been making beautiful, tasty girl-pop music ever since.
Having built up an impressive reputation on the Scottish gig circuit, performing around Glasgow, Edinburgh and the Islands, the band are dedicated to sharing their illuminating, original and unexpected music with the whole wide world.
If you like your gin with a twist of lemon and your pop spiked with the ache of broken hearts then KAIHO is your perfect cocktail.
