Bio

Kalamazoo hails from the Falkirk area of Central Scotland. Formed in 1999 by two friends since early schooldays, Andy Taylor (vocals and guitars) and Calum Neil (bass). Drummer Justin Davidson completed the line up in 2001.
They have combined the classic format of guitar, bass and drums with inventive and quality song writing to create an awesome alternative rock debut. The songs, which reflect personal experiences of growing up in and around their hometown have a raw, earthy, soulful feel and also carry a mystical, shamanic message. Influences range from Black Sabbath to Beck.
Kalamazoo have recorded and produced the songs themselves at ‘Homegrown’, which is their own recording and rehearsal studio.
The band are responsible for all aspects including artwork, design and website. They are currently writing and recording new material for a future album
