Kald Kriger is one man band bringing back the spirit of true Scandinavian black metal that started in the late 80's to a time now which is flooded with imposters and sellout fakes. Each aspect of the music, artwork, lyrics are solely captured by Vredensdal who takes pride in his Norwegian heritage. Honoring both his ancestors and greatest metal bands of the past he creates a sound that give the listener a familiar feeling from a band that we all love: Bathory
The name "Kald Kriger" comes from Norwegian meaning cold warrior. It is supposed to represent the apathetic outlook on the mainstream and modern world and the constant battle against the church and all oppressive and religious ideologies.
