Kalei Petten

Kalei Petten

BandPopSinger/Songwriter

I play original songs (written and composed by myself) which have an acoustic/pop feel, as well as some classic rock.

Biography

At the age of 10 my grandmother (a former barbershop singer) took me on as her student. She taught me to perform, act, and use my complete voice. Ever since I have been performing all over Nova Scotia, by myself and with other musicians. I have opened for 2 canadian Idol finalists, such as, Jaydee Bixby, and Dwight Deon.
I have been deeply influenced by the Beatles, Janis Joplin, Johnny Cash, and all classical rock. I have been writing/composing my own music ever since.
I believe that I am different then some other musicians because I can really put a message across, and can deliver my song to my audience.

Discography

- I created my first CD in 2008 "Kaleidoscope", which consisted of all of my original compositions.
-In 2010 (Feb.7th) I got some radio time on CKDH.
