Kali Stoddard-Imari moves all throughout New England and New York, playing community events and festivals and opening up for Acts like In The Valley Below, Adam Ezra Group, Martin Sexton, Taj Mahal, and Shawn Colvin. I have played at venues like, Salisbury Beach Boardwalk in MA, The Flying Monkey in Plymouth NH, Higher Ground in Burlington VT, and the Shalin Liu Performance Center in Rockport MA.

Kali grew up in Lyndon Vermont playing around with poetry, hip hop and chorus until he picked up the guitar at 17. He was always routed in music, But the guitar lead him through the music of the world, and gave him a better understanding. His passion grew as he fused his musical past with Americana, Island, and Folk, stripping him of a particular genre and transforming him into an eclectic singer songwriter.

In 2010, he moved with his family out of Vermont and into Boston in search of more people to spread music too. He is now based in the Boston area where he lives with his Wife Jennifer, and his children Nia, Asha, and Sekou. His family and the necessity of positive experiences inspire him to create music for the people. “I strive to create more than Feel Good Music, I create Get Good Music. Music is medicine for the masses. When we come together, we treat the ailments in our society and communities. This is something I cannot ignore and nor should anyone else.”

Produced By Black Hat Music, His Self titled album "Kali ",shares the artist's ideals and experiences by using a mixture of analogies, word play and anecdotal situations. The album is a loosely chronological odyssey, accounting Kali's journey through heartache, storms and loss to the realization of love, persistence and positivity.
