Kali grew up in Atlanta, Ga. where his roots are buried deeply. His love for music began at seven years old, a time when his grandfather insisted that he practice his trumpet for 3 hours each day. It was there, on the back porch of his grandparent’s house that he found his passion.
Currently, Kali is working hard in the studio, assembling some of his best material for a CD to be released early next year. Tour considerations as well as digital distribution are being discussed to support the long awaited CD.
Kali has performed with many famous artists to include; Bobby Lovelace (Midnight Star) and Wayne Linsey (The Tonight Show) both whom started their careers in one of Kali’s Bands. (The Brown Leather Band and I-20 East)
With a large catalog, the ambition and determination to move forward, Kali has worked effortless to sort through a vast array of original melodies, beats and arrangements to find the right mix for his CD and the new music industry today, not forgetting his faithful listening audience.
