"Fire and Sea - Review"

"Fire and Sea", another Kalliopi self penned track is reminiscent of some of the
Cranberries work on their album "No Need To Argue." There are elements of
the dark delivery used in the Dusty cover, making it sound like it could
be played alongside The Doors' "The End" or Nancy Sinatra. The track feels
like it could slip into a grittier action film soundtrack with ease.

"Kalliopi CD Single Review"

Much like a mix of something like Blondie meets Pink. Maybe toss in a little Joan Jett or the Go-Go’s. That’s my feeling on it anyway. It’s got a pop flavor with a punky vibe. A raw guitar or two will always seem to do that to a pop song - punk it out a little. - Singleoftheday.com

"Shock Radio Review"

I like the tone of Kalliopi's voice- it has unusual quality. Also like the raw sounding guitars on the track, and I think the poppy edge to 'Around the World' could mean that it has the potential for mainstream success - Shock Radio - Fran Smith

"Kalliopi - Review Around the world"

Kalliopi goes on to show her 'global' side by daring to cover a song first recorded by the late, great, Dusty Springfield - and, what a great job she does with it!! Kalliopi somehow manages to make this one sound exactly what it is - an old song done with today's rockin' power and pop sensibility. Kalliopi's version has the punkish nuances of Hazel O'Connor combined with the raw rock of The Velvet Underground - hey, it's a cracker!! Toxic Pete
Then, Kalliopi invests some of her Greek origins in 'Fire And Sea'; a wonderfully, Cranberries-ish slow grinder. Impressive voice, very impressive delivery and a very impressive way of tying influences together in a very 'now' sensible way.
Tasty stuff from a young lady positively oozing with charismatic charm and dripping with potential!

Around The World' is a great, pop-rock work with instant appeal and more than a hint of anthemic qualities. Kalliopi gives a great breathy, quite sultry and sexy performance here. - Toxic Pete - Peter Brown

"Kalliopi CD Single Review"

Throwing you straight into the best track on the single, 'Around The World' shows Kalliopi at her best. This is Goldfrapp with an attitude, Kalliopi's vocal is far more dominant and whips this song up into a frenzy of bassy turmoil. - The Mag
