Aristokrat Records presents their new Kaduna-born signee, Kamar, a highly-skilled drummer, pianist and singer. Kamar was first heard on the scene as a contestant on MTN Project Fame and more recently on Pucado‘s new single “Impostor“.
Well, This is Kamar‘s very very impressive debut single, “It’s Friday”. A song in which he fuses the old school ‘do wop’ and classic afro-pop sounds in honour of the most beloved day of the week, Friday! Listen & Groove :D

The last time we heard the soft-crooning skater boy Kamar, it was on fellow Aristokrat Records label mate Pucado‘s tale of a being a layer, “Imposter”.
Here, he’s on his own again and he’s softly singing to his “Darling Darling” in his native tongue of Hausa, with a few spatters of English here and there. And, we all know how sweet some Hausa sounds.

Born in Kaduna, northern Nigeria, Kamar brings more to the table than just a smooth voice. Bio
Kamar is a multi-talented singer, guitarist, drummer, and keyboardist. He is the second of three boys and hails from Kaduna State of Nigeria . Fluent in Hausa, English, and Kagoro.
His influences range from international stars such as Ne-Yo, Michael Jackson, Boyz II Men, 112, Usher, Joe, Donell Jones to Nigerian stars such as Asa, Jeremiah Gyang, and 2face.
Kamar was a Top ten finalist on West African talent hunt show, Project Fame. He officially signed to Aristokrat Record after he left the show and Kick off his career as a solo artist in August 2013.
