The Band has been through many incarnations over the past few years, but this line up has been together since just before Christmas, 2004. The band consists of Danny Thibodeau on Guitar and as main songwriter and spearhead for this effort. He's got a beautiful soul and tons of positive energy, basically he's a 60's flowerchild thrust into the new millenium. Leandre Bourgeois adds splashes of musical genius with his Keyboard work. The rhythm section consists of Bassist Sebastien Michaud, he's got Jaco Pasorius' chops, a laid back attitude and a heart of gold, and last but not least, Dan Martin on Drums, pots, pans, and whatever else he can get his hands on. The group blends it's varied musical backgrounds and influences into a sound that's part Prog Rock, part Jazz Rock Fusion, with a serious infusion of Funk. All in all, this band's got some serious soul and feel and always brings the listener along on their musical odysseys. Thick with feel, they weave a tapestry of musical landscapes that will entrance anyone willing to abandon themselves to the sounds of Kameleon. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Ce groupe a vu plusieurs incarnations au fil des annees mais la formation que nous retrouvons aujord'hui date d'un peu avant Noel, 2004. Kameleon consiste de Danny Thibodeau, un homme aux sensibilitees de paix et de d'harmonie sur terre, il est l'ecrivain, la voix principal, et guitariste. Ce groupe, c'est le bebe de Danny. Il y a ete sa force creative depuis son inception en 1999. Son reve... de s'entourer de musiciens qui partagent sa vision, sa philosophie, et surtout son amour pour la musique. Aux claviers, Leandre Bourgeois...un musicien aussi bon d'esprit qu'il est talentueu. A la basse, Sebastien Michaud...le fils illegitime de Jaco Pastorius (O.K. c'est pas vrais!!!) et Daniel Martin, un vieil ami de Danny, aux percussions. Le groupe melange leurs influences variees pour creer un son qui est a la fois, parti Rock Progressif, parti Fusion Rock & Jazz avec une infusion serieuse de Funk. Ils ont un "feel" musical parfois veloute, parfois intense, et toujours plein d'emotions fortes.
