Bio
Kamino began in the fall of 2008 with a goal of trying to reproduce the legitimate electronic music of the 90's and today. By taking the production of Glucose and Larvae Ink and reproducing it with a live drummer and hand percussionist, Kamino has surely achieved their goal. Both Ben (Glucose) and John (Larvae Ink) use computers and live instruments to create a factory of sounds that will twist your ears and your mind, while Justin and Harry Hold down a serious groove. Kamino's main purpose is to bring lots and lots of awesome bass and classy beats. Kamino's main influences are Photek, Teebee, Dilinja, Lemon D, Source Direct, J Majik, Total Science, Calibre, Dom & Roland, Dave Tipper, LTJ Bukem, STS9, Radiohead, Talking Heads, Flaming Lips, Skream, Benga, Scuba, Flying Lotus, Eskmo, Daft Punk, Justice. Although only being together for a few months, Kamino is opening for KJ Sawka on the 22nd of January at the B-Side Lounge in Boulder, CO with DJ Christopher James and long time friends E-Team (Inou Exit)
