"Strenuous sound rang!"

KandNeo (a.k.a. FAKiE in Japan) that acoustic guitar and vocal duo performed at Dillons Dinner Cabaret on Friday Feb. 1st. They played 6 songs include standards ?gSummer Time?h The Carpenters ?gClose To You?h and their original songs ?gTo The Limit?h ?gkokoro-Yosete(in Japanese)?h. Unique Neo?fs hot driving acoustic guitar and Kay?fs fluent varieties of voice took over a 100 people by storm. Japanese audiences are 1/4 of all.
Singer Kay have got a scholarship of Japanese Government and is taking voice training and studying English in N.Y. since September last year. She is exploring her way as an entertainer in N.Y. ?gI was so exited! As our show rolled by, I just concentrated into MUSIC and lost consciousness about race, place?cjust be as my voice and his guitar. And I realized that cheering of the people from same country was so kind.?h Kay said. Guitarist Neo said ?gThis is the big challenge for me to express our MUSIC to the audiences from all over the world.?h They rang strenuous sound that was legend in Japanese indie live music scene. Nylon-string guitar, usually used in classic music, and female vocal -- this format may give you preconceived ideas of "soft and mellow or jazzy." But they often destroys the prediction. After that, Their had many live performances in places nationwide until 2004 when they released their first full album Timeless, which has been accepted by many music lovers including jazz listeners and audio fans for the CD's quality sound. In 2006, released 3rd album To The Limit. It was recorded by "1-bit technorogy". * Powered by SHARP Co. No over dubbing, no punching in, just LIVE! 2007, Kay has obtained a scholarship of Japanese Government. She lives in NYC now.
