Kao=S

Kao=S is the band from Japan which creates an extremely original performance.
The performance of Kao=S, which is the fusion of Japanese tradition and rock is Static and Dynamic ,Beauty and Elegance.

They performs songs with Tsugaru-shamisen and Shakuhachi which are Japanese traditional musical instrument, and the acoustic guitar, twin vocal of man and woman, and Japanese-sword performance by Kaori.

Kaori Kawabuchi(vocal /Japanese sword dance) is an actress, a sword performer. And she is also famous for being a motion acor in video games "FINAL FANTASY".
Not only she sings, but also dances with Japanese sword "Katana" in the climax of the show.

Jack(Tsugaru shamisen) plays at every place in Japan, and has performed in Hong Kong,Taiwan,Mongol and UK as a single performer.

Shuji Yamagiri(vocal, guitar). He is a leader and main songwriter of Kao=S.
He plays the acoustic guitars and sings with a wide voice.

Daisuke Kaminaga(Shakuhachi) joins Kao=S in Oct,2012.
He has played in U.S.A several times as a member of HEAVENIES which is a gospel group from Japan.
He joined U.S tour of Kao=S(L.A and Las Vegas)

Kao=S started in April 2011 in Tokyo.
They passed an audition of SXSW 2012 in about a half year since they started.

Kao=S appeared in "JAPAN NITE" in SXSW 2012.
They got much praises from audience and their photograph was placed in the SXSWORLD(May 2012).

After SXSW2012,they joined Japan Nite U.S tour.
And performed in Chicago, NY, San Francisco, LA, Las Vegas.And They got many fans in U.S tour.

After returning to Japan,Kao=S played in the party of The America-Japan society,Inc and Self-Defense Forces Tochigi garrison town.

In Oct, Daisuke joined Kao=S and They performed in "Tokyo Boot UP!2012" which is the music festival in Tokyo.They made the best mobilization record in this festival.
