Bio

The band was originally formed in 2002 by Nancy, Søren Altenburg and the former drummer René Cunt. In recognition of Nancy's lack of talent playing the guitar, the band hyred Mozart as the band's guitarist. At that point of time the band was called Lick The Lavatry. Under that name the band financed and released the album "Sweet Pink Boneshaker". Later on, Nancy choosed to name the song "Sweet Pink Boneshaker" after the album.
In the year of 2004 pianist Troelz Schmidt joined the band and the band was about to be reinvented, so to speak. The band changes the name to Boredom, nobody know why!!!, and made the demo "Ethopania" with 3 tracks. After touring a little the band came to the conclusion that they didn't come any further under the given circumstances. The band choosed the sack drummer René Cunt and handled in Frederik Qvitzau instead. Futher more they changed the name to "Nancy and the KAPOW! Circus Quintet" as we know them today. In the winter of 2005 the 2nd demo, with the title "The Return of Lord Pim Le Quare", containing the original recordings of the classical song Bozac Wood, was on the street.
The year of 2006 was basically used on developing the sound and stile of the music wich resultet in the circus related combination of sturdy rock 'n' roll, balkan music, ska and ompa as foundation.
January 2007 Nancy and the KAPOW! Circus Quintet released the 3rd demo, Wow, containing "Chaos in the Quintet", I Just Got To Do It and < 3
