"Oslo’s Kappekoff Wants You to Dance Like Children in ‘All Day Long’ Video"

Since it was released earlier this month, “All Day Long” from Oslo duo Kappekoff, has shot to #2 on the Spotify charts. It’s not hard to see why with the track’s feel-good dance club vibe (rarer than one might like these days.)

For the video, the duo—Magnus Falkenberg and Rasmus Thallau—tapped Christopher Stensli, who set the glowing, soft club funk to what’s either a loving couple’s night out, or an Uber’s driver’s most exciting customer ever.

“We want people to dance like kids do, without hesitation, unfiltered,” Falkenberg said. “The song is sunny, but the video shows Oslo by night. The video and song together feel as if the director of Drive hooked up with George Duke and had a little French Touch baby.”

Kappekoff’s debut album is out later this year on Oslo Records. - Bullet Media

“Stick em up!” Norwegian electronic pop duo Kappekoff are here today holding us up at musicpoint. And by “stick em up” I mean your chest with your shoulders back, head strong, arms stretched, all upward to the crisp autumn sky ready to let loose. Their new single, “Oktober”, is a museum of sounds banging on the eardrum each showcasing intricate nuances trickling down to indulge your senses.

Man, this takes me back to my early days dancing at underground parties when you could feel the upper-deck bouncing. What I admire most about Kappekoff is that their music isn’t downplayed, never simple piano configurations matched with delicate vocals that surrender to a rising string coda. Instead, their songs are chock-full of adrenaline, sing-along melodies and buckets of red paint, ready to take the town by storm and leave their mark. - Kick Kick Snare

(Transelated from french)
Here is a song that has nothing to envy our French touch and his most recent successors such as Breakbot "All Day Long" has what it takes to groove and disco to assume this filiation. Yet it is the work of two Norwegian Magnus and Rasmus Thallaug Falkenberg, who form the duo Kappekoff .
These two producers from Oslo announce already an album for the end of the year. To be continued ! - Le Soundriven

Still working on that hot first release.
