Bio

Kara Aubrey is like a Pat Benatar, Pink, and Paramore projecting a new moxie—mod-MOXIE Rock.

Kara Aubrey is the recipient of the 2012 “Sam Ash Coyote Radio Music Award,” the best unsigned artist in San Diego, San Bernardino, and Riverside counties. The concert will be televised on Time-Warner, Verizon Fios, Charter, and AT&T U-verse in California, starting in September. The concert was also supported by a number of California terrestrial and internet radio stations, and the performance was simulcast to the worldwide audience of iRadio LA.

Kara Aubrey has a highly relatable personality, delivering engaging, energetic, and family-friendly music entertainment. The vision of this rock artist, musician, and songwriter is to motivate and rally her generation to do great things, be courageous and inventive—be MOXIE!

Story-driven MOXIE describes Kara Aubrey’s new "Save My Heart" music video performance with Platinum, Grammy, and Emmy musicians.

Kara Aubrey’s passion is to play a role in the social soundtrack of her generation through multi-media entertainment arts. Her journey as a vocalist, pianist, actress, electric violinist, and songwriter was already underway before entering Junior High. By her early teens, Kara Aubrey had even written and performed in several musical plays. Gaining publisher attention as one of the top five in the GMA National Songwriting Competition with her song Addicted To Noise, her journey lead to the recording studio sessions in Nashville and later in Hollywood.

Kara Aubrey caught the attention of Hollywood celebrity vocal coach and producer, James Lugo. In 2007, Lugo produced Kara Aubrey’s first EP rock project entitled KA.

By 2008, the KA project was a nominee at the Star Music Awards in the Best Independent Rock Alternative category. Soon to follow were performances at the Henry Fonda Music Box Theater and LA LIVE Target Terrace in Los Angeles, and performances at Rocketown in Nashville and at The Abbey in Memphis launched her multi-media entertainment momentum. The KA momentum extended across the Atlantic and onto the airwaves in France, Germany, Belgium, and Luxembourg in June 2009. Later that year, Kara Aubrey founded KAM Productions, LLC.

In the spring 2010, Kara Aubrey had the privilege of launching the awareness and fundraising project entitled “Project Reverberate” for the non-profit Andre Sobel River of Life national charity foundation. In the summer of 2010, Kara Aubrey was invited to perform at the Monterrey Spirit West Coast festival at Laguna Seca Mazda Raceway.

Catching the MOXIE vision, KA debuted on northern California airwaves as an emerging new female rock vocal artist. In the fall of 2010, Platinum, Grammy, Emmy, and Dove award winning musicians recorded Kara Aubrey’s new Single, including infamous session musicians: Rod Stewart’s drummer, Tony Brock, bassist Phil Soussan of Ozzy Osbourne’s band, Billy Idol, and Vince Neil fame, along with the infamous guitarist JP Cervoni for Nina Hagen, and the Buddy Miles Band.

Kara Aubrey linked with film-director Felipe Soares (Director/Cinematographer for Black Eyed Peas, Butch Walker, and Google) in winter 2010 to capture quintessential 80’s iconography in an action-packed, innovative, and story-driven music video “Save My Heart” featuring mod-MOXIE Rock.

Kara Aubrey accepted The Recording Academy, home of the Grammy Awards, membership nomination in early 2011.

During 2012, Kara Aubrey expanded her social media interactions with fans worldwide via Tumblr, approaching 200,000 hits on You-Tube, Facebook, and with more than 40,000 fans now following her on Twitter.

From the dream toward the destiny, only the horizon can scribe the limits. Kara Aubrey, through undeniable heavy rock and engaging entertainment, delivers an authentic MOXIE vision.
