Kara Willis

Music is just a part of me, part of my makeup. I picked up a guitar when I was eight and have been playing and singing ever since. Through the years, I've fronted cover bands and played solo, and have enjoyed it all, but have come to a point where I only want to write and perform my own music. There's nothing as satisfying as pulling a beat or a lyric line or a melody out of my brain and translating it into music and sharing it with others. I try not to oversing or over play my songs. I like to keep them clean. Whatever the style that pops out, my sound easy to listen, and my voice is a bit raspy and strong.
