Unapologetically real, raw, recalcitrant, raunchy, and ravishing but yet humble enough to understand that the meek shall inherit the earth and only the just will prevail; he is awaiting his breakthrough in the music industry. Having the passion and courage to pursue a career in the music industry, Racardo D. Davis, formerly known as Kardo Santana, is an artist that specializes in positive, subconscious reality hip-hop.
Slick and lyrical, he is an author and poet who uses poetry in an effort to redefine and restructure today’s hip-hop movement. Unlike most southern artists of today, his music is inspired by real life events such as social injustices and domestic oppression. Understanding that his purpose in life is to use his voice and his way with words to inspire, he uses his gift of music to uplift and educate others, especially those within the black community.
Coming on the scene with a vintage 90’s flow which he identifies as ‘the flow-melodies’ (rapping and singing), the producer, songwriter, and recording artist brings fathomless solid rhymes and punchlines to his music. Being accompanied by the jazzy, funky, soulful, rhythmic and bluish sampling instrumentals that he produces, Kardo Santana is here to stay and with time he could damn well become a household name; eventually a great or legend in the game. When asked how far he believes he can go with his career, the South Carolina native stated, "I know the sky can’t be the limit, especially since Michael Jackson walked on the moon."
