new professionals is my band. i am karen curious.
I, karen curious, was born with a dream of greatness with sound. my life has continual background music every waking moment and sleeping moments too. i get together with different groups of musicians at a time and give life to the creative life coping sounds in my head. most of the people i play music with are my friends and become my family. the most recent CD (yet to be released) features the above artists performing on it.
The CD before that featured Sarah M on guitars and vocals, Jonathon TeBeest on drums and Sonny O' Jesus on additional guitars and keys.
I was born with the dream of performing. I can remember laying in my crib just knowing, thinking and feeling like I couldn't wait til i got my chance on the radio! I had a guitar at the age of 2years old. I bought my first acoustic at the age of 10 years old and joined my first band as lead singer at the age of 12 years old. I have been in and out of bands all my life now and there's no stopping me now.
I am inspired by the people in and out of my life. I am inspired by love and heartbreak, death and gratitude, children of the future and animals that would die for me if i asked them too. I am not in this for money, if i was i would have left a long time ago.
music is the blood and water of my life on this planet earth. take a ride with me and i will show you what i mean.
