Her debut album No Lullaby is not an album in the traditional sense, in that it is a complete piece in itself. It is a continually developing story, each song representing a chapter that portrays a journey of personal evolution and effecting change.
No Lullaby is about our distorted self awareness. it is the reality that we dont want to admit to ourselves but must in order to bring about change. It is only when we have reached personal awareness that we can look around and see the things that need to change in our society. All evil needs to breed is for good men to do nothing.
No Lullaby is the inspiration to do something.

Pages of lyrics and segments of poems scribbled on the back of school books and little pieces of paper is where Karens early song writing began to evolve.
Karen uses her songs as a platform to speak about issues that are important to her. But these songs can impact everyone on some level relating inspiration and encouragement at a time when most needed. Her unorthodox lyrics are delivered with strength and conviction through her distinctively powerful voice and aggressive guitar style.
