Bio
Karen has just released her first solo CD, "7 simple songs, part one." The music is pop, rock, and R&B with folk and country influences. She has written, produced and performed all songs on her CD. The CD has received rave reviews and has been steadily selling whenever she perfoms and on CD Baby.
Karen has been singing, acting and composing music nearly all of her life. In Pennsylvania, she wrote and directed a community awareness play about homelessness entitled Catch the Next Train.
Karen also sang the lead vocal in a nationally released commercial and completed session work with a variety of musicians from groups such as Earth Wind and Fire, Change and the Marshall Tucker Band. Karen was the principle vocalist in the band FX who opened for the R. Kelly and Bobby Blue Bland shows.
Karen wrote and produced the song “My Name Is Peter” that promotes autism awareness and is currently writing music for a theatrical production about Broadway performers and their quirky habits. As a member of the cabaret troupe Crazy for Broadway—SVU, Karen displays her comedic talent and vocal ability to audiences throughout PA.
