"Blue Man Records"

"Karen Rockower is an increcible songwriter" - Seth Freed, Blue Man Records Label Director

"nyc music reviews"

“A mesmerizing beauty, Karen is a delight to listen to, with her melodic guitars and picture painting lyrics!” - www.mebeeb.com

This girl can
sing - she sings with more passion than
most acts I see - and I dig the
writing. And can a singer have a cooler name, I
mean, come on??!! www.localmusicnow.com

"WRTC Trinity College Radio"

"From the minute I heard "Boston", I was hooked. Karen has all the elements to make it big."
- Hartford, CT

"The angelic bombs have a sound reminiscent of early U2 or R.E.M.
It takes you back to the time when alternative music really was
alternative - youth howling with a passionate new voice"

"I have not seen a band, local or otherwise, that rocks as hard and
looks as good as The Angelic Bombs. They just ripped up the stage and got the crowd rockin' and screaming for more." - B. McKee

Still working on that hot first release.

Conceived in Brooklyn in a flurry of musical passion and instant friendship in 2004, The Angelic Bombs quickly secured a prime residency at The Delancey, a hot new New York City indie rock venue. They have since gigged around the East Coast, blasting fans with highly honed, unpredictable musical experiences that entertain, lift the spirit and make a person lose oneself for awhile.

Though their brazen, tough, indie-rock feel stems from influences like Tom Waits, PJ Harvey, The Clash, The Pixies, Modest Mouse, and X; their sound is entirely unique. This is mainly due to having 2 distinct lead singers and an eclectic rhythm section.

Their triumphant, angry, and often darkly vulnerable lyrics can embolden the listener one moment, and disarm them the next.
