Karin Starck, singer, songwriter, singingteacher
Born in Götene, in the southwestern parts of Sweden, now living in Stockholm, Sweden
Has been working as a freelance singer in Stockholm for the last 8 years, doing everything from events to conserts and backup choires with jazz as well as pop/soul and classical music
Studied at the Royal Music University in Stockholm for 4 years
Have been writing songs for about 10-12 years
Finally there is a CD coming out with 12 of Karins songs in september 2011.
First single was released the 29th of april 2011, "In time".

The music can be described as some kind of melodic, poetic acoustic singer-songwriter pop with different influenses such as country, blues, jazz and swedish folk music. The instruments used normally is piano, double bass, drums/perc, guitars - acoustic, electric, dobro, harmonica, violins, lead and backup vocals. The songs can also be peformed live with fewer instruments.
