Bio
Karith Foster is a Plano, Texas transplant who moved to New York City to pursue a career in television. With her Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Stephens College (Columbia, MO) and Oxford University¡¦s St. Peter¡¦s College, this former ABC affiliate reporter took a position on the production team for ABC and Barbara Walter¡¦s, The View where she was first introduced to the world of comedy. Since then, she¡¦s been seen on Showtime at the Apollo ¡V Comedy TKO, Comedy Central¡¦s Premium Blend and the Canadian show She¡¦s So Funny. Karith was named one of the 10 Standout Stand-Ups Worth Watching in 2003 by Backstage, a Performing Arts Weekly. She¡¦s a regular performer at Comic Strip Live, New York Comedy Club and Dangerfield¡¦s in New York and in Los Angeles has performed at The Laugh Factory and The Comedy Store. Karith can be seen as a regular on VH-1¡¦s Best Week Ever & giving commentary on numerous other VH-1 shows.
