I grew up listening to a variety of genres. Since I was speaking full sentences at 9 months old, I knew just about every michael jackson and madonna song, by the age of 4. I loved music from the very beginning, my parents played lots of rock, pop, r & b, classic country, and much more. I think it hit my mom of how much I loved music when she first heard me sing. We were at a grocery store one day and I was sitting in the cart, to my mom's surprise I started singing "like a virgin...touched for the very first time!" just like I had heard in the van. A random customer turned around and said "Oh my goodness, shouldn't she be singing her ABC's?" "How old is this child?" My mom was in shock as well, but smiled, "2". I started to then write songs, and for about 10 years now I have never stopped. I continue to improve, moderate and update various songs I've written but I always strive for better, I know I can always do better. Have you ever heard that quote "life is a song, love is the lyrics"? I live by that, music is my greatest passion and biggest love.
