Karl Knutson is a classically trained vocalist who has love and experience singing almost every genre of music! From Barbershop quartets to 9 piece pro funk bands...Karl has sung it.
Karl has written many songs in a variety of genres that are available for publishing consideration
Karl moved to Chicago from Kansas City in June of 2008 after having performed in the 9 piece pro Funk Band, Funk Syndicate. Karl decided to start a band in Chicago that infused his Funk experience, with his love for the jazz standards and making music that has the marketability of POP...Hence, Funkyjazzypop.
Typically, Jazz musicians play Jazz, Funk musicians play Funk, etc...Karl arranges the music to break those walls and make something ANYONE could love!
