Bio
Karl Stephen Brunig, now a resident of Houston, Texas continues his musical career with a new collection of songs inspired by everyday life. "Love Songs and Life Stories” features “Warm Summer Rain”, a song of hope for new beginnings and bountiful harvests.
Born in Syracuse, New York, Karl sang in church choirs and studied classical piano. His songwriting was heavily influenced by Billy Joel and always told a colorful story. He completed a Music Production degree at the College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York and co-produced "Easter Island Vacation" by the popular Ska band, Conehead Buddha that same year. Karl went on to start Mighty Rushing Wind Recording Studios and produced a series of regional artists such as the young Christian band "Revolution," and the Jewel-like Phoebe Henry who later opened for Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden.
