Bio

Jerome “Kashflow” Stampley is a rap artist, song writer and composer from the 6th Ward Treme area of New Orleans, La. As he often states, “Music is My Life.” Living out a passion and displaying a gift for raw talent Kashflow has been on his rap grind since 2004 when he first got his start as a group member of the Da Fam Gang through Brick Livin’ ENT, a record label formed by New Orleans rapper Mr. Marcelo.

The group’s lyrical prowess and uniqueness warranted them a deal in 2005 with Houston based independent record label “Ball or Fall Records.” During his stay with the company (2005 – 2007), Kashflow collaborated with the likes of Sean Paul (Youngbloodz), Mr. Marcelo, Numskull of the Luniz, Prince Bugsy and fellow Fam Gang members, Young Fell and Taliban Bundy.
After taking a brief break from the music industry, Kashflow returned as a solo artist releasing his first mixtape “Up Rose a Star,” in 2008. The project featured the popular cover of Rick Ross and Yo Gotti's track “Miami 2Nite”. Kashflow called on his long time friend Curren$y to feature on the track and to date, the popular track is still frequently requested during Kashflow's live performances. "Up Rose a Star" carried Kashflow through his entire 2009 campaign with numerous appearances throughout Miami, Austin, Houston, Dallas, Arkansas and numerous cities and hot spots in Louisiana including New Orleans popular entertainment hubs House of Blues and the Howlin’ Wolf.

2010 shaped up to be a very successful year for Kashflow. He collaborated with artists such as Trademark Da Skydiver from Curren$y’s imprint Jets International, YF Banga (YF/YMCMB), Calliope Var (Hood Star Ent), Mr. Marcelo(Jet Life Records) and countless others. In January 2010, he released his second solo mixtape “Re-Enrollment.” The project showed his maturity and growth within his music tallying 12,500 downloads in less than three months and 25,000 alone in 2010. Kashflow lined up two more successful projects later that year. In April of 2010, he released his third solo mixtape, “U.F.O. (Ultimate Fly Object)”, hosted by fellow New Orleans native and producer Crack Tracks. His lead single from the mixtape, “Smokin’ N Watchin’ Movies” features The Jets own Trademark Da Skydiver.

He set the tone for underground hip hop in the South after dropping the July "iKash ep" receiving over 25,000 downloads and counting. Kashflow rounded out his 2010 mixtape movement producing more than 100,000 downloads combined.

Kashflow’s 2011 project, “Re-Enrollment 2” hauled in 40,000 downloads the first month featuring internet smash "Paper Mission" featuring Curren$y (Jets Intl/Warner Bros) which hauled in over 100,000 downloads from May to June 2011, serving as an official leak to the mixtape. 2012 proves to be bigger and better for Kashflow as the New Year approaches. Kashflow is scheduled to drop his highly anticipated debut album titled “Street Credit & Luxury Taxes.” With collabs from The Cool Kids, Currensy, Trademark Da Skydiver, YF Banga, Flow (Flame Gang/YMCMB), Billionaire's Row (Kashflow's newly formed rap group) and more. Stay tuned to Kashflow's epic come up in the underground music industry to watch the promising career take flight as this one of a kind artist with major goals set takes flight. Huge announcements soon to come!!
