"Someone To Hate"

Someone to Hate!

How educated Rapper/Music Artist Kashon (a former I.P.S. member) overcame past events to acquire a game-changing year in the music industry. By Ashley Treull

Baltimore native hip/hop artist Kashon calls himself “the Don rapper of hip/hop music today.” As we sit on the set of his photo-shoot for the new anticipated album for 2011 summer “Ousted” Kashon only speaks briefly about the songs that will make or break the album’s summer sales. Listening to his prospective hits you could predict that the outlook for the outstanding musician this time around is under new management. With a new look and sound, Kashon is putting in overtime for what he believes will set the tone for his solo retreat. From the up-tempo bounce to the urban slang of “Paper Addiction” a song such as this club banger gets the 1st single stamp of approval from the fine rapper at his best. When asked, his cities his biggest influences for the former lyrically talented rapper: Tupac Shakur. “The poetic versus of his music was real to me, I call it “Reality Music” he had a song for every type of feeling or mood a person could have.” And he’s also a big music fan of No Limit Records CEO/Owner and Mogul Master P. for his movement, because of where he came from and what he concurred. The message the young rapper invokes from both artist is much inspirational as well as educational. He states, “that the grandfather’s of hip/hop today set a real life example that the problems we face we are not dealing with it alone. They always taught to be yourself and keep your head up.”

Invited to stay and sip champagne until the remaining five hours of the photo-shoot was over I had to decline, although I never wanted to leave the ladies man who I now label as a Realist in the hip/hop game. Never taking my eyes off the rap artist he would be taking his styled photos and suddenly take time to hug and photograph with the local community kids. We would talk again more about his political views and social life at a later date, but for now I didn’t have many questions for any remodel topics.
Thanks Kashon

The Artist Political Views of the ways of the world blamed on music today…
“Its not the music, all my songs are not shoot it up and bang bang. I have positive songs and have performed awareness lessons to kids a few times. The entire N.R.A. Music Group loves the interactions when we go to the school concerts and events. We are most famous for performing sown the Baltimore Arena Playhouse. My songs expresses positive self-awareness, promotes education, and doesn’t spare consequences for actions.

Bio

Baltimore native hip-hop/rap artist Kashon was born January 9, 1985 in the slums of Murphy Homes Projects in the inner city. He was the neighborhood bad kid, always getting put out of school, fighting and staying out late. It took his mom putting him out and attending Job Corps to find his independent stand. One day in a friends basement someone dared him to record on an old boombox system that had a microphone attached. The soon to be hip-hop/rap artist would emerge just from a dare in a friend's basement and a track laid down in a major recording studio that week. From there the young artist was 16 years old and had already opened up for major rappers such as 50 cent, Mobb Deep, Project Pat, Shop Boyz, Beanie Sigel and Freeway. The message Kashon invokes from both artist is much inspirational as well as educational. He states, “that the grandfather’s of hip/hop today set a real life example that the problems we face we are not dealing with it alone. They always taught to be yourself and keep your head up.” Kashon is a music intellectual solo artist that’s both talented lyrically and poetically. Some people would call it rap music; some of the female fans would call his slow features R&B, but poetically all the music is simply Hip Hop. He defines Hip Hop as an expression through words, poetic lyrics & sound, and music with a meaning. He has been to many cities and events to showcase his craft such as Teen Fest Baltimore, MD, Spring Bling 03' Daytona, FL, Skateboard Festival in Charlotte, NC, Nuyorican Cafe New York, NY and much more. The artist has been interview by radio stations and his records has been spun with Dj's from all over. Media Appearances include Radio One 92.Q Host with Squirrel Wide, FM Radio Host DNA, 93.9 Radio DC, Baltimore Rap Attack Interview. Today the rising star doesn't even want all the shine, he wants to give back to his community and encourage young men from where he started from to be the best at what they want to be.
