"Review of Killa Kat Album"

Killa Kat - Down Or Dead 2 Me Vol. 1

That sick hatchet ninja Killa Kat's new album, Down or Dead to Me, has been rockin' my mp3 player like what lately. The underground rapper from Maywood, Illinois spits wicked flows on almost every track. When I first heard this album I was blown away with the sound quality. Down Or Dead 2 Me compared to the sampler I got at a show was just amazing. With songs like Commercial Shit and Get Crunk he literally tells the mainstream rap industry to fuck the fuck off. He shows mad Juggalo family love by keeping some Ninja Squad stuff on this album and not going completely solo. Killa Kat even shows us a bit of his soft side with the amazing track Let It Go. Most of the beats he used for this album fit so well with the wicked ninja style lyrics he spits. It almost reminded me of hip-hop meets a Kung-Fu movie blastin into your eardrums. My personal favorite song on the album is called Only the Lonely and features Ninja Squad's own Night the Warrior. It tells the story of 2 ninja assassins. Skits about beating haters down and clowns jackin you for your shit pull the whole album together for that fresh Juggalo sound. I love how he rocks it on German Chocolate Cake. I don't think I've ever heard a rapper that can scream like Killa Kat does on this track. Blazin Hot shows just how big Killa Kat's ego has gotten, and rightfully so, this whole album is hot. I would have to say that Killa Kat is one of the best underground artists to come up out of the woodwork since the dawn of the wicked shit. This album proves once and for all that this ninja is down for life.

Feeling a bit camera shy

"All I want to do is make good music."

In a era of gimmick music, below standard lyrics, and sub standard talent, Kataklyxmic takes the path most wont take. The road of hard work.

A artist who makes his own beats and writes his own songs, Kataklyxmic has dedicated himself to the craft of good music. " Hip Hop is the form that I choose to represent in my music. It's who I am and how I live. So I must do the music justice." We could go on about his accomplishments but we will let the music speak for Kataklyxmic!
