Shot of Truth

Written By: Katana Mantra

Betty keeps on sayin’
He never looks at her so fine
As the time he spends out playin’
You know that just ain’t right

She knows this can’t continue
But look at all the shit she’s been through
So she opens up a bottle and tells
Herself it’ll be alright

Open wide, here’s a little shot of truth
For you
You can’t hide what you feel inside
Of you

Saucey smiles as he shakes his head, pumps a fist
And he walks away

Open wide, here’s another shot of truth
For you
You can’t hide, what you feel inside
Of you

No more baby

When you’ve had too much you say
Always gonna be another day, yeah!

Betty slumps against the wall the tiles are cold
She can barely stand
She stumbles to the sink and she hears a voice
In her head
She looks into the mirror, Saucey’s eyes are there
To meet her
She gives herself a wink and she pours a drink
To forget the night

Open wide, here’s a final shot of truth for you
No more baby
When you’ve had too much you say
There’s always gonna be another day, yeah!

Ain’t no use cryin’ babe, get your ass up off the ground
You’re gonna get a little soul check, ain’t no messin around
If I can’t make you trust me, I can’t make you realize
If you don’t wake up soon babe, you’re gonna get real mean surprise
You know they call it a shot of truth
And you know that it’s comin’ for you babe
I’ve got a real bad feelin’ and
It’s because of,
When you’ve had too much you say
Always gonna be another day, yeah!

Soul Infections

Written By: Katana Mantra

Seems so surreal, I feel like I’ve been
Standin’ outside
Lookin’ in , helpless strapped down
On the sidelines

Involuntary battles wagin’ war inside my head
Torn and pulled in all directions
Held down by my soul’s infection
can we break the circle of the never ending cycles,
the never ending cycles

Then sometimes I’d like to turn it off
Lay it down, rest my weary head
Just when I think I’m done
I turn around it comes right back again like

Involuntary battles wagin’ war inside my head
Torn and pulled in all directions
Held down by my soul infections
Can we break the circle of the never ending cycles
These never ending cycles oh Lord!

And you know that it feels surreal, yeah
I just want you to know

Too hard, no way, I’ve found to breakaway
Life goes on, hope I can make it

Involuntary battles wagin’ war inside my head
Torn and pulled in all directions
Held down by my soul infections
Can we break the circle of the never ending cycles
The never ending cycles, oh yeah!

Too hard, no way, I’ve found to breakaway
Life goes on, hope I can make it
Home

Bombdiddley

Written By: Katana Mantra

If you don’t feel it then you know
You’re really not here
You’re still fallin’, don’t look down you won’t
Find your balance

Kicking and screaming and crying won’t help you at all
So just let go free will won’t stop the world from turning

And how long do you think that you can continue to stall
You know it’s in you
So turn around, look what I found here on the ground

It’s your last precious breath don’t let go of it yet
Can you see what is real, really in your mind

Just like bombdiddley gonna smoke you out
Gonna put my finger through your brain
Till you scream and you shout
Just like the things you thought you could do without
We’ll see how much you miss them
When you’re down and out

Open your mind up and let me crawl inside your dead
I’m calling you, run away if you’re not quite ready
Wipe all the tears off your face and look up to the sky
It’s falling down as the world treats you rather harshly
Well that’s life you asshole so please don’t continue to stall
You know it’s in you

So turn around, look what I found , here on the ground
It’s your last precious breath, we’ll take all we can get
We don’t care what you feel, really in your mind

Repeat chorus

Don’t look down, whoa, whoa is too
Far away, or is it too close, whoa, whoa
I don’t know how but,
Salty nuts, salty nuts
Salty nuts, salty nuts
Salty nuts, salty nuts
Salty nuts, salty nuts

When you conceal it you know that they’re gonna find out
It’s obvious look around and you’ll hear them calling
Just then you wake up and notice you’re really not here
You’re still falling, look around and you’ll see you’re dreamin’
Kicking and screaming and crying won’t help you at all
It’s not up to you
So turn around, look what I found here on the ground

It’s your last precious breath
Don’t let go of it yet
Can you see what is real
Really in your mind
Really in you mind

Yeah, Bombdiddley
