Bio
With members all originating from different musical backgrounds,
the Tempe, Arizona based band Katastro breeds an original sound with elements
of hip hop, Rock, reggae, blues, and funk. The band was formed in the
summer of '07 by highschool friends Andy Chaves(vocals), Andrew Stravers
(drums), and Tanner Riccio(guitar). It wasn't until the addition of bassist Ryan Weddle that
the bands unique style became apparent. In November of 2008 the band released their first EP
entitled " The Wonderful Daze", which lead onto other works completing their most recent four song
digital EP "The Facts", which can be found on both Itunes and Amazon mp3. Currently the band is
playing shows throughout Arizona and focusing on writing their first full length record that is scheduled
to debut towards the end of 2009.
