"Inerview"

" 'Bare' is an emotionally revealing collection of songs from my soul.
It represents me entirely and everything that I stand for." From its
intimate, raw vocals, to the uncomplicated, soothing production,
'Bare' is full of heartfelt lyrics and honest emotion. Even the
natural, photo chosen for the cover of 'Bare', with it's soft
luminescence, compliments the concept that is 'Bare' . "I hope that my
audience, is able to get caught up in the pureness & honesty of it
all. This is me. I'm putting myself right out there and it's exciting
and terrifying at the same time."

A prolific song writer, Kate's insightful, well-crafted lyrics are
intellectual and deep. She writes about the human condition, of love,
loss and fear. Her melodies are memorable, translating her passionate
voice into an emotional experience for the listener. "I don't just
make things up. Writing is therapy for me, so each song is another day
in my life, another thread in my ever changing tapestry. Because it
comes from a place of such honest emotion, I feel like my listener can
relate so much more. If I've gone through it, if I've felt these
feelings... other people will have as well."

Influenced by the likes of Carole King and Stevie Wonder, Kate manages
to fuse real life, with real music. Her sound is distinct, as unique
as Sade, with a range, depth and fullness akin to Toni Braxton and
Alicia Keys. "I very rarely get told I sound like the same person
twice. To me, it's less about who you sound like, and more about how
you translate emotion."

Influenced by the likes of Carole King and Stevie Wonder, Kate fuses real emotion, with real music. Her style is refreshingly natural and superior to mainstream pop.  But Kate's sound is distinct, as unique as Sade, with a range, depth and fullness akin to Toni Braxton and Alicia Keys.

Kate grew up in a rural environment outside Toronto, excelling in music and languages. An Ontario scholar, Kate won the Aramark English award in her graduating year of high school, as well as a Millennium entrance scholarship for university.  Recently she has been developing herself as a writer and artist, networking and building the necessary
