I have had the opportunity to perform in Los Angeles and Nashville. I've had a lot of wonderful experiences and one really bad one. I don't play any instruments (not for a lack of trying), so I have to rely on someone else. One time during a performance my guitar player just stopped playing! I was horrified, especially since it was an acoustic venue. At that moment I decided to keep on singing the song, even though that meant it was acappella. Fortunately, my accompaniment picked back up several bars later and we were able to finish the set. Talk about a nerve wracking experience!
