Bio

As six piece student pop band, Kate Dunn and the Redunndants, has emerged from Strathclyde University, Glasgow. The band’s fun and catchy tracks have been created over the past two years, and now play in a range of bars across Glasgow.
Kate Dunn, a music student from the University, has always had a passion for music from a very young age. Her love for instruments first began with Sunday afternoons playing the piano with her Grandpa and has now emerged into poetry and a talent as a multi instrumentalist.
“I set up the band as a creative output to my song writing, I was surrounded by so many great musicians that it seemed like the obvious next step.”
The band was first created two years ago, with members altering continuously, but now the group are settled. Their fun spirits display their great music that is played across Glasgow. Post their gig in The Barrowlands 2, Kate Dunn and the Redunndants aim to tour Scotland, playing in a range of bars across the country.
“Now feels like the right time to go for it, the live music scene is growing and we want to be a part of it.”
