"Barfly" single with Sugarland's Scott Patton and full length CD are set for release Autumn 2008.

Kate Kwik has spent 20 years honing her vocal and songwriting skills and developing her own style, which is clear and strong in her songs. Influenced by a wide range of music including Blues, Jazz, Folk, Classical, Afro-Cuban and others, the music of Kate Kwik spans the genres of Americana and Roots, and connects with people of all ages.

In this project, Kwik teams up with prominent Atlanta producer and four-time Grammy nominee, Bruce Bennett, on keys. Also working with Kwik is Memphis bred Bill Lattner on bass. His career has taken him from Free Jazz in Memphis to helping found the Rockabilly movement in Atlanta in the 90s to playing for years on Frenchman Street in New Orleans.

Also bringing their considerable talents are Musicians Institute of Los Angeles alumnus, Doug Jacobs, on guitar, and Pittsburg native and Atlanta live music fixture, Andy Tomko, on drums. Both Jacobs and Tomko also produce music.

A Texas native, Kate Kwik has performed in London, Dublin, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Thailand and across the U.S. Her Atlanta-based band is available for booking in clubs, festivals, private parties, and is ready to tour regionally, nationally and internationally.
