Waiting For You (War Song) Lyrics
By: Katelyn Duran

Oh say can you see –
Down the sad defeated streets…
Where fathers, brothers, lovers meet …
To say goodbye…
Can’t you just give me an answer-
Or I’d just settle for a sign…

(Chorus)
Bombs of hate are flying-
Friends of mine and yours are dying-
And my soldier is crying…
From the pain he sees –
in that somewhere…not so far away

In the dawns early light-
I wake with a wish…
in mind and sight…
Cries of hope –
Bursting in the air…
I walk to the door –
And Imagine you are there…

And I’m here
I’ll keep on waiting for you
While you are there liberating for us
Where you are no one knows but,
Ill pray for peace
In that somewhere not so far away

(Bridge)
No explaination can bring you back here…
While you are proving that our flag is still there-

(Chorus)
Bombs of hate are flying-
Friends of mine and yours are dying-
And my soldier is crying…
From the pain that he feels –
In that somewhere…not so far away

Monopoly

Written By: Katelyn Duran

Little Johnny stole from my bank
I told his mommy and she gave him a spank
To him life’s a game
And it’s just like you’re playing monopoly

My sister just got thrown into jail
She’s got to money to pay her bail
You can try rolling doubles
But it’s just like your playing monopoly

That’s what you get when you live like you’re playing monopoly
That’s what you get when you learn that nothing in life is free
Roll the Dice
Move your piece
Walk past go and collect in the game of monopoly

Found a house right on Park Ave
You can’t imagine all the bills that I have
I can try working extra
But it’s hard in this game of monopoly

When I was younger we played for weeks
Now that I’m older we play for keeps
Houses, hotels, railroads
We’re living monopoly

That’s what you get when you live like you’re playing monopoly
That’s what you get when you learn that nothing in life is free
Roll the Dice
Move your piece
Walk past go and collect in the game of monopoly

That’s what you get when you live like you’re playing monopoly
That’s what you get when you learn that nothing in life is free
Roll the Dice
Move your piece
Walk past go and collect in the game of monopoly

Pay your rent
Or live for free
Make friends with the banker
This is monopoly
