Lyrics

Fairytale Love

Written By: Katelyn Sawatzky

When you’re smiling I feel my head spin
I feel the hunger underneath my skin
Would you give in, just let me in
And I’ll show you I’ll show you everything

I’m empty headed sometimes wrong
You got me loaded the day you came along
I’m ambitious and you know this
You’re candy coated, so delicious

(Chorus)
Call my name I can barely contain
This sweet embrace but it’s not enough
I’m going insane, sick of this chase
The sweetest thing, just give me fairytale love

When you kiss me I’m going crazy
When you touch me I’m going hazy
So if you want me then don’t taunt me
Say you’ll be here ‘cuz it’s something real

Sometimes you let go when you should hold on
You don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone
But if I had my way you wouldn’t leave today
You’d be the one who gives me anything

(Chorus)

Bridge
So you hold me again eh eh eh
Where should we begin oh oh oh
If I told you the truth eh eh eh
X 2
Would you get in the frame

Call my name I can barely contain
This sweet embrace, but it’s not enough

Chorus X 2

Discography

Katelyn's debut CD is set for release in early 2006. It was recorded at High North Records and produced by John Paul Peters.

Set List

My typical set is a 10 song set. I have close to 40 original songs that I perform. I have about 150 minutes of original material. I generally do 2 - 45 minute sets at a show. I also include a few covers. I prefer to do original material, but the audience always likes to hear a few cover tunes. The covers I do are stuff from Michelle Branch, Sixpence None the Richer, The Cranberries, Eric Clapton, and Mandy Moore.
