Bio
I live and work and play in St. Augustine, FL---a small city filled with music and fine musicians. I usually play solo but can also appear as a duo, trio or full band. I am a strong solo performer, as I am a REAL guitar player--both trained and self-taught. (majored in classical guitar in college) My influences are wide --including Bonnie Raitt, Joni Mitchell, Sarah Vaughan, Fats Waller, Emmylou Harris, Sam Cooke.
I love to write all styles and weave them into a tapestry of my own guitar/mandolin and vocal stylings, as well as doing the same with any cover tunes.
I'm more than just another gal with a guitar--I'm a gal who can play as well as she can sing. I have been writing and playing on the mandolin over the past few years; I'm very excited about that as it's a totally new sound for me and I'm discovering more each day!
