Katherine Hernandez

Born and raised in new York city music has always been a part of her life. She has been singing since the age of 5. As Katherine got older and approached her high school years she decided to take singing seriously and auditioned for the Professional Performing arts High school. This is where she really developed her passion for music and singing. She then decided to make this her professional career and got accepted to Berklee College of music as voice principle. She has recently graduated with a degree in music business and management. At berklee she really found her voice sing pop/r&b and neo-soul. She started off singing in an merengue ensemble at berklee and had the opportunity to participate in the Tito Puentes series. In the past year Katherine has been working along side songwriter Amandi Music and recorded her first EP "Outside The Box" which will be released in the new year. But she also has a single out off the EP titled "Touch." "Music is my addiction" Katherine states music is her drug, her rehab and therapy, "I don't know where I would be if it weren't for music" says Katherine. Katherine's long term goal is to become a successful artist manager/developer. She believes that her passion for music and developing her self as an artist will benefit other artist in the future. "you teacher better from personal experience" says Katherine.
