"Kathy Fleischmann is a fine vocalist, and her smokey, countrified blues prove you don't have to be a down-and-out fat man to sing about your woes." - Long Island Voice, 9/99
"Kathy Fleischmann is a remarkable songwriter. On her CD, "Sympathetic Coffee", she excels on songs like "Pocketful of Change." - XS Magazine, Fort Lauderdale Florida
"Kathy Fleischmann can sing anything. Joni Mitchell would love this woman." - Indie-Music.com, 2/2000
"A former alt rock band vocalist, Kathy Fleischmann's turn as a singer/songwriter is still going strong, exemplified by her latest effort, "Unresolved." Her lyrics are brilliant and obviously emanate from various corners of her heart and soul, carried by her voice, which takes Joni Mitchell's blues and injects it with Bjork's angst." - Music Morsels
"In the folk/blooz arena, Kathy has her own unique style and she's able to reach out make you hear that she's there - & vibrant - & alive!" - Improvijazzation Nation, Washington, DC 1/99
"One of the most inward-turning of South Florida's singer/songwriters, Kathy Fleischmann engenders respect from audiences and colleagues of both genders with her moody compositions and low key demeanor. For every flavor of the month like Sheryl Crow, there are countless Kathy Fleischmanns whose writing and singing cuts right to the bone." - City Link Magazine, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. 9/95
"I remember being startled by the amount of raw, sheer intensity that she put into her acoustic set. In good faith, I can honestly say that I've never seen someone turn that framework inside out in the manner that Kathy does." - The Inside Connection, 1/2000
"Fleischmann has lived up to her solid rep and earned respect as a folk artist with music that has appeal for every ear and performances that leave a lasting impression." - NOW, Toronto, 6/98
"To take the title, "On the Map", if Fleischmann continues in this vein, she'll indeed find herself there." - Newsday, NY 4/2000
