Katie Blaisdell

“If your dreams are not big enough to scare you then they are not big enough!” This is a quote Katie lives by. She truly believes when she says, “Anything is possible if you just believe in yourself.” Katie Blaisdell has been on several international tours including countries such as Thailand, South Africa, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and the United States, to name a few, doing the one thing she loves the most; singing. The stage is no stranger to this seasoned artist. Since the age of four, she has been performing in everything from Christmas parties to concerts with audiences of 10,000 people (Godly Revolution in Johannesburg, South Africa.) She quotes, “I have been blessed and privileged to work with international artists such as hip-hop talent CJAY and pop-star Melanie. I truly believe in the power of music no matter location, time, or style. Music touches one’s heart, soul and being in a way nothing else in the world can. I truly believe that and want to share that feeling with the world.” Katie writes all of her own lyrics and works with only the best composers. She has recorded original songs with celebrity drummer Gigi Gonaway and has had tracks produced by award winning producer/engineer Gary Nieman. She has played alongside acts such as Stellar Kart, Pheed, Melanie and Cjay. Katie was the winner of the 2002 Tucson Idol and a top 10 finalist in the 2009 Arizona Idol and is now currently working on her debut album! She has most recently been chosen to be the “artist of the month” in VG magazine and has already appeared once in the magazine for her outstanding performance at the ITPC Player’s PGA Tour event, with celebrity guest Alice Cooper. Katie is also a trained hiphop dancer, currently performing with the Phoenix, AZ based crew “Precise.”
