Was I Meant To Be An Artist

Was I meant to be an Artist

Was I meant to be an artist
Was I meant to live my life
Singing songs of different people
Singing songs of their lives

Was I meant to say my word
To the people around the world
Would it mean that much to someone
As it means so much to me

So, I’m gonna sing my songs to you
I’ll show you my world inside, singing you
If that’s what I was meant to do
I want to live my life singing you

Was I meant to live forever
With my songs in people’s hearts
Was I meant to sing in songs
What I couldn’t say to you

Is my fate to say my word
To the people around the world
Would it mean that much to someone
As it means so much to me

It's You

Written By: Dan Boyne

It’s You

How can the stars keep on shining when they know
That it’s through?
How can the moon rise above me in a sky
That’s so blue?
How can my heart keep on beating, keeping time
That’s so true?
When it’s you, you, it’s you I’m thinking of

How can the night take on shapes, so unfamiliar to my mind?
The places I once knew, I can no longer find
And people I meet look at me strangely
Passing spirits, so unkind
But it’s you, you, it’s you I’m thinking of

I see you in my dreams at night
Calling out my name
When the morning comes and I wake
I think I’ll go insane
There’s nothing left for me here
Without you by my side
Cause it’s you, it’s you, it’s you I’m thinking of...

Broken Dreams

Wind blows away my dreams
It seemed anyhow unreal
But my soul is still craving for some more
Just one, more time to feel

You, on a familiar street
Your eyes, (your eyes) tell me what’s inside you
Your look, shows me you’ve forgotten me
Not even one, one memory of us

Street lights, lightning up your face
I can see the ending of our faith

Wind blows away my dreams
My soul flies away with it
From, that unforgivable moment
That made this dream untrue
Leave me just one more moment
Leave me one memory of us
