Feeling a bit camera shy

Katora is a sultry R&B vocalist with an ability to move her audience with soulful ballads and uptempo party jams while keeping her fans totally involved. Her vocal range and tone captivates her audience and keeps them hanging on her every word.

Katora in 2005 won Best female R&B performer at the Sacramento Sounds of Soul Black Music Award Show. Katora has been performing throughout Northern California at many San Francisco Bay Area venues such as Rasselas, Maxwell’s Lounge and Simone’s and various festivals and fairs. Through her music you can hear influences from Mary J Blige, Erika Badu and Alicia Keys.

Katora is not only a gifted vocalist but she’s also a talented songwriter. Through her lyrics she is able to strike a chord with her listeners by touching familiar issues about relationships, and love. Katora visually creates pictures for her audiences with her lyrical style of story telling.

Katora is preparing for the release of her sophomore album “My Way” which picks up where she left off on her debut album “Sista Sista” with tales of love, lost and feminine power. Katora’s album “My Way” shows her taking control of her life, music and relationships. Katora is poised to bring another great voice from the Bay.
