Feeling a bit camera shy

My music is a bodily , physical beast. It springs from the geograhical and emotional journies i've made and i do feel very different depending on which language i sing in. Each stikes its own emotional chord that is beyond words so that it doesn't matter whether i, or the listener, understands the verbal meaning. My English songs feel more tethered to their words.

Pan-european troubadour, chanteuse, song-smith, KATUS nation hops through the new and old world singing it as she sees it.
Fresh , polyrhythmic guitar style and bewitching singing flute and incredible voice that gives her great diversity as a solo performer.
Aswell as penning her own songs in Eglish, French and Czech, she collects traditional a capellas and rare folk gems in Bulgarian, Russian or Gaellic, from St Petersburg to Skibereen and weaves them into her encyclopaedic set.
Her itch for the road and expert cultivation of 'the magic of the off-beat gig' have seen her pop up at such venues and events as Glastonbury , International Gypsy Guitar Festival(UK), Broadstairs Folk Festival(UK), Xianti Balkan Music Festival(Greece), Popovice Cultural Festival(CZ), St Georges Hall Bristol, Smallworld, Jazz Cafe,The Troubadour, Spitz, Stokenewington Fringe (London)
Roisin Dubv(Galway) Jazz Club Zelezna(Prague) to name but a few amid the tours of Eastern Europe , France and Ireland.
She began performing and writing songs four years ago in Bristol and very quickly followed her instincts east. Her 5th ever gig was to Nigel kenneddy in a jazz club in Poland. She has jammed with the likes of kennedy, Kroke , Donovan, and supported John Otway. In May she will be supporting one of her heroes, John Martin, at Holmfrith Picture Palace.
