Kay.I.Am ( alter ego Kream Soda) born Kimberly Sobantu in Durban South Africa; bred in the Eastrand, Kempton Park I'm a female rap artist.

My love for music began in the early 2000s...Madonna, Kylie Monogue, Atomic Kitten were my favourites. I used to write my own pop songs and perform them for my brother until one day my uncle introduced me to hip hop. The very first album he played for me was 'The Eminem Show' by Eminem. I loved how he fused hip hop and pop with his story telling lyrics.
To better express myself I started adding rap to my songs, entered rap battles and psyfers.
After ten years of sanding(for lack of a better word) craft, a couple of features I released a number of singles for dpwnload...'Put Me On' being the first, featuring artists under Heartless Marksman Music.
I went on Vuzu hustle and made it to the Top 20 rappers out of 3000 entries.
